Empowers Young Adults to Develop their Potential
Blend Academy is for young adults (18 - 36 years old) who want to reintegrate, learn, and gain work experience in a fun way. The Blend Academy program focuses on professional hospitality and personal leadership and provides a broad base of life skills and practical skills for all types of work. Our coaches support you in finding your way within the labor market.
Theory and practice:
Theory and practical assignments are alternated with Blend meetings where you work as a host, earn some extra money, and work with real guests. During the meetings you can, for example, learn how to walk with a tray or plates, develop your organizational talent, or put your wine knowledge into practice.
You will follow workshops every Thursday afternoon from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The topics that are covered in the curriculum are: catering, events and hospitality, and personal leadership. What do you want to achieve and how do you get there? What makes you happy, what are your challenges, how do you stay balanced, and where is your strength?
Every Thursday morning you run Blend Café with your team from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM. You can put what you have learned into practice here and get acquainted with entrepreneurship.
Location, duration and intensity:
The intensity of the curriculum is an average of one and a half days a week. As a result, it meets the requirement that many organizations place on daytime activities. With good results you will receive a certificate from us. In consultation you can organize the working hours flexibly.
